TMGA in my Portfolio

Well, I've been updating my other blog a bunch with my portfolio, and this one was starting to feel a little lonely. And since the first four pages of my portfolio all involve The Many Great Adventures, I figured why not post them here too?

The first two pages are the (significantly pared down) storyboards for sequence 2, where Ellie is first tucked into bed, then sneaks out and opens a magical door...

This is just a composite page of a bunch of drawings I've done of Ellie and Celeste.

And here are some pretty-much-done stills of the film!
Alright. And now I really ought to get back to making more animation!

My Workspace

I took a few pictures of where I work when I'm animating! I just forgot to upload them 'til now...

This is the traditional animation lab, room COM 118, where I have spent far too many hours over the years:

And here's the desk I've taken over. There's an in-progress clean-up drawing I was working on:

There's the pencil testing equipment. Fancy, isn't it?

A close-up of the all-powerful lunchbox! That was the frame count at the end of January when I actually took these pictures. It's closer to 24000 now.

Yeah! So that's where I work.

Ellie's Posters

Well, I was looking at the backgrounds that involve Ellie's room, and I realized that the walls were very bare. So, I made a poster!

I can't remember the girl's name, but these were the characters from my freshman year film "Frog Hunt." It was a 33~second traditionally animated film, painted on cels, and shot under camera.

Also, this is a sample. Does anyone else want to help decorate the walls of Ellie's room? Let me know! I'm only looking for maybe 2-3 more pieces to put up.
